This beautiful example from 1966 showcases an original silver sunburst dial with a subtle sunburst finish, complemented by slim applied baton indices, matching hands and a neatly integrated date window at 3 o’clock. Housed in its elegant 35mm stainless steel case and powered by IWC’s legendary Pellaton-winding Cal.8541 automatic movement, this example combines classic Schaffhausen design with excellent mechanical pedigree. With its beautifully balanced proportions, original dial and refined vintage character, this is a superb example of an understated IWC from the 1960s.
