A superb example of the legendary King Seiko line, this February 1968 King Seiko 4402-8000 embodies the precision and restrained elegance of Daini Seikosha’s golden era of watchmaking. Its shimmering silver sunburst dial is framed by razor sharp stainless steel architecture, with beautifully faceted dauphine hands and applied indices catching the light with every movement of the wrist. Finished with the unmistakable gold Seiko medallion on the caseback, it is a wonderfully refined expression of Japanese horology from an era when King Seiko stood proudly alongside the very finest watches Seiko could produce.
