7-Day Return Policy Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a timepiece one agrees to all of the stated terms and conditions for the return policy and warranty.

We offer a 7 day return window on watches purchased through our website for peace of mind. Returns are only accepted if they follow the conditions below and the watch passes our inspection. All purchases at Montre D'or, whether on the website or in-person, automatically agree to these terms and conditions.


1. How to start a return

Email us at montre.dor22@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.


Include:

Proof of purchase and your guarantee certificate or warranty card

Your order details

A clear reason for return

Photos and videos that support your request


Do not send the watch back until you receive our return instructions. Unauthorised returns may be refused.


2. Return eligibility

To be eligible, the watch must be returned:

In the exact same condition as received

Unworn and unused beyond careful indoor inspection

With all original packaging and contents included

Including box, tags, warranty card, guarantee certificate, and any freebies

With no missing parts and no signs of tampering or opening


Returns will be rejected if there are signs of wear or handling, including scratches, dents, dirt, sweat, moisture, perfume, body fluids, strap marks, or any damage to packaging.


3. Faulty or damaged watches

If the watch is faulty, please contact us first. In most cases you should use our 6 month movement warranty rather than returning the watch.


A return for damage or faults will only be approved if the issue is confirmed to be on our end and not disclosed in the listing.


Damage caused after delivery is not refundable. This includes water damage, moisture, sweat, impact, magnetism, misuse, or improper handling.


If we confirm the fault is on our end, we will reimburse return shipping costs regardless of location, using a shipping method we choose, reimburse half (5%) of the processing fees and waive the $65SGD original outward shipping fee.


4. Return shipping and risk

If the return is approved but the reason is not our fault, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.


All returns must be shipped:

Trackable

Securely packed

Insured for the full value of the watch

Marked as a "Returned Good" clearly


For international returns, the buyer is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and courier fees. Delays or fees caused by customs are not grounds for a refund.


We are not responsible for loss or theft during international return shipping. The buyer is responsible for ensuring the safe return of the watch.


5. Non refundable fees and deductions

Refunds are processed only after we receive and inspect the watch. If the return is approved, the following fees are not refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable:


10% non-refundable processing fee

9% Import tax return fee for overseas clients returning to Singapore

65SGD Original outbound shipping and insurance fee if shipped

Any bank charges, FX conversion fees, platform fees, import taxes or courier surcharges are also not refundable.


If the watch is returned in a damaged or altered condition, we may deduct repair and restoration costs. If repair is not possible or the watch value is materially reduced, the return will be rejected and the watch will be shipped back at the buyer’s cost.


6. Reasons that are not accepted for return

We do not accept returns for:

Water damage or moisture related damage caused after delivery

Issues clearly stated or shown in the listing description or photos

Any watch with visible wear or handling marks

Scratches, dirt, strap marks, sweat, moisture, perfume, body fluids

Damaged or missing packaging, tags, warranty card, or accessories

Personal reasons unrelated to the watch including change of mind or buyer’s remorse

Refusal to pay import taxes or duties which are the buyer’s responsibility

If a parcel is returned due to unpaid duties, shipping costs and return shipping costs are not refundable


If a return is sent back for an invalid reason, the buyer remains responsible for all shipping costs and any processing or inspection costs incurred. If sent back without prior approval, the buyer will be responsible for paying for shipping fees back. If not, an additional $50SGD restocking fee will be imposed and deducted from the partial refund.
